Mozambique was the first FWB’s project. Nowadays, we have more than 30 reception centers. Even though we see results that fill our hearts with pure satisfaction, there is still much to be done. Orphan children whose parents were killed by HIV, whole villages lacking drinking water, people who get to stay three days without a single meal.
In a country where about 1 million people suffer from thirst and hunger, your work of fraternal love will be more than welcomed.

A tough reality that makes us add a lot of love and care in our luggage.
Madagascar is one of the poorest places in the world. Families suffer with the constant hunger and thirst. Severe malnutrition and lack of hygiene lead to diseases such as taeniasis, chigoe, and many others. Shower only happens when it rains and the struggle for survival is continual.
Embarking on this caravan is knowing that not only supply and medicine are going to be needed, but also an extravagant dose of care, patience and dedication to make the difference in the world of men, women, elders and children who pay back with smiles and joy all the dedicated care. A journey, with no turning back, towards the best that exists within us.

A caravan to the refugee center Ubuntu Nation, in Malawi, is much more than a humanitarian trip, it is a trip towards within ourselves in the deepest sense of the word. A reception center built besides a camp with 38 thousands of refugees from Congo, Burundi and Rwanda. Incredible stories of resilience, union and love impossible of being described here.
The project, born from the soul of a volunteer from Rio de Janeiro, Clarissa, is now part of our hearts. When applying, prepare yourself to a life-changing experience by getting in contact with the most suffered and most beautiful of what human being can experience. An ambiguity that fascinates and touches.
“I am because we are” is the Ubuntu philosophy. And that is why your help coming straight from your heart, will be gladly received by all the refugees who have lived for more than 24 years in precarious situation. Your help brings them 13kg of pieces of corn, 1kg of beans, 1kg of soy and 200ml of cooking oil a month, keeping alive their hope of better days to come.
